Thank you for checking out my business; Sidhe Who Creates. A little background about the origins of my business name, Sidhe is pronounced like 'she'. Sidhe, in Irish folklore, refers to faeries, and sometimes refers to the homes of faeries. My name is Maeve O'Callaghan, and in some Irish folklore, Maeve is the name of the Queen of the faeries. I love folklore and word play, so I felt like it was a good way to name my business.

Sidhe who creates was officially started in December 2024, but I have been making jewelry for many years. Mostly just for myself or friends, and only recently got the courage and time to turn it into a business.

When I'm not making jewelry and adornments, I'm usually hanging out in the forest I'm lucky enough to live in, out in my garden, foraging for mushrooms and herbs, or with my cats, chickens, or a book. I also love cooking, baking, and making my own herbal concoctions. I'm hoping to one day expand my business to also sell herbal body care products, teas, and tinctures, but that may be a few years away before it becomes a regular part of the business.
